Motion register

In the motion register, members can submit motions at PAM Council meetings and Congress. Submitting motions is an opportunity to influence the union and its activities by raising issues and development areas that are relevant for the union. To achieve this, motions should focus on broader outlines and objectives. The Union Congress and the Council make policy choices when adopting the motions.

Motions submitted at PAM Council

The right to submit motions at PAM Council lies with union branches, community members and Council members. Eligible individual members of the union branches shall also have the right to submit motions as referred to in Section 5, point 13, always fifty (50) individual members together in accordance with more detailed formal regulations* issued by the Executive Committee. Motions shall be submitted to the Executive Committee no later than two (2) months before the Council meeting.

Motions submitted at PAM Congress

The right to submit motions at PAM Congress lies with union branches, community members and the Executive Committee. Motions shall be submitted to the Executive Committee no later than two (2) months before the congress.

*Formal Regulation: Eligible individual members of the union branches shall also have the right to submit motions at Council meetings as referred to in Section 5, point 13, always fifty (50) individual members together. Eligibility means the motion must contain the name, membership number and personal signature of each mover. The eligibility of the signatories is verified from the membership register when the motion is received. The first signatory must keep the original motion and the list of movers until it has been processed by the union council.
